Its been a long time since we last updated this page, so I figured itd be appropriate to do so with the new year just starting and give everyone an update on what The News Can Wait is up to.

We are currently in the pre-production stage of our next EP which is going to be released sometime in the mid-late spring. We will announce more info when we get an exact date.

Expect new pics, vids, and updates concerning the recording process soon.

We plan on recording many different times throughout 2011 because we want to release as much material to everyone showing our diversity and wide range of music influence as we can to give everyone a better idea of what TNCW is all about.

More updates coming soon. New Site. New Music. New everything.

We are honestly more excited about where things are going than we have been in the past 3 years.

CASTING CUTS AND CALLBACKS

We hide behind these masks of fear, exchanging thoughts between
frames. The stage was set for success, but all the camera lights are
blinding what we know.

As we sink into our roles, let us not forget that we're not alone.
Stand in place between the lines,
And try your best to make it to the cut.

Hold your ground, don't be afraid.
Take a breath, then just breathe what you believe. (hold your breath)

Be true to what you know.
Even the most saintly of us are sinners, watch them hide.

THE BUILD UP

Even great ships sink under the heaviest of storms.

These anchors leave no lift to surface the sea, so I'll drown if I
don't swim towards the shore. I'm sure I'm not the first to abandon
ship in crisis.

Come to terms with your mistakes and where they lead you. They're
holding you down. With growth comes progress, So progress!
Save yourself!

With the strength of these waves, I scream at the wind, "make your move!"
We stand with our hands in the air!

COLORS

She speaks in colors we do not understand.

Unmask your fears.

FOR NEW EYES

I'm losing all circulation now and I have realized my fears;
The extent of my own thoughts, and everything I have become.

These knots are so redudant, this mask is so unecessary now.
I can't decide what it is I'm doing here. I can't decide if it's me,
or have I lost my mind? My mind is the only thing that's keeping me
from sleep.

With a lift from my face, fidelity shines bright for new eyes!

The choice is yours and can only be yours.
